Episode® UPS Network Management Card: Ever had to drive back to a job site to reset a router or cable box? Instead of hopping in your car every time, the EP-400-NMC is a Network Management Card that lets you take a supported Episode® UPS product online for remote management & monitoring. Once installed and configured, you can access, monitor, and reset the UPS from anywhere in the world with a computer.

The Power of Surfing: The EP-400-NMC turns compatible Episode® UPS products into web-enabled power plants. Use a PC or Mac browser for easy remote access of the UPS, or control it through many popular IP control systems.

On Your Mark, Get Set, Install... Installation of the card is a Snap! Just slide it into the back of the Episode® UPS, configure the IP address, access the system via the Web and set up user accounts. In minutes, the UPS can be online and ready for the following:

Online Functionality

• Remote Power Cycling: Utilizing the master switch inside the remote management software allows you to schedule Shut-Down, Start-Up and/or Re-Boot times remotely. For example, rebooting the router weekly at a scheduled time to clear out any software "gremlins".
• Event Notifications: Wouldn't it be nice to know about system issues before the customer calls? You can be that proactive with the EP-400-NMC by setting up notifications to automatically email or send to SNMP traps on certain events.
• System Summary Check: Live feedback allows remote management and configuration of the UPS. Get a real-time summary shown on your computer as if you were standing right in front of the UPS on the jobsite.
• Data Logging & Status Records: Did you know your power company may not always send 110V to your outlets? Thankfully, a connected Episode® UPS performs power correction to restore full performance to your A/V or data system. The EP-400-NMC adds event logs and status records you can use to analyze system performance.
• UPS Status: When you need a status check, the EP-400-NMC delivers it instantly. Power line voltage, output voltage, output frequency, output load, battery capacity, battery run time and unit temperature - all this information is available at your fingertips from anywhere in the world.
• Remote Diagnostics: Can you check the status of your car's battery from the office? Fortunately for your customers, with the EP-400-NMC you can get a quick peak under the hood from your desk. Diagnostic testing lets you perform a runtime calibration with installed load, validate the battery is still good and report the battery's remaining life. It also includes the results and date of the last battery test performed.

User-Upgradeable Firmware: Like other enterprise-level networking products, the EP-400-NMC features user-upgradable firmware. This ensures you always have the most up-to-date functionality available.
