Planet Waves 4K HDMI Active Optical Cables provide the best of HDMI technology alongside Cleerline SSF Optical Fiber. Planet Waves HDMI AOC are fully 4K Ultra and 18 Gbps compatible.

Each Planet Waves HDMI AOC incorporates four strands of Cleerline SSF Optical Fiber. Unlike fibers in other AOC cables, which are often plastic, SSF optical fibers utilize a Glass, Glass, Polymer construction. The patented SSF polymer coating at the glass level provides increased strength and flexibility, allowing Planet Waves HDMI AOC to be safely pulled and flexed without damage to the glass.

Planet Waves HDMI AOC Cables utilize the latest chipset technology, eliminating the need for a metal head to dissipate heat. This improves the longevity of the cable and allows the use of a durable molded plastic head.

All cables are fully tested to meet all HDMI 2.0 standards for features such as 4K60 4:4:4 transmission and 1536 khz max audio sampling rate. Additionally, all cables offer HDR and WCG. ARC is not supported.
